The Gião Eco-Trail - G2 Route (yellow) is a short trail in the parish of Gião, in the municipality of Vila do Conde. With around 4.4 km, it crosses the central and northern areas of the parish, following forest and rural paths and passing by some elements of religious and local interest.
Like the other Gião eco-trails, it starts at Poça de Pinelas and is part of a network created to promote outdoor activity, soft mobility and contact with the rural and natural surroundings of the parish.
Among the places associated with this route are the Parish Church of Santo Estevão, the cross and roadside shrines on Rua do Padrão, Souto dos Morteiros and the crosses on Rua da Igreja. It is a simple trail where the rural setting is combined with small heritage elements linked to the parish.
