Ecovia do Cávado - Fão ➔ Fonte Boa

The section between Fão and Fonte Boa of the Cávado Greenway follows the southern bank of the Cávado River, within an area integrated into the North Coast Natural Park.

With around 3.2 km in length, this linear route has an approximate duration of 45 minutes (1h30 round trip), an easy difficulty level and almost no elevation gain. The trail runs alongside the river, offering a peaceful walk through a landscape shaped by riverside areas, the presence of water and the natural surroundings of the Cávado estuary.

Along the route, it is possible to appreciate the historical relationship between local communities and the river, passing near Fão, the Templo do Bom Jesus de Fão and the Barca do Lago area, next to the river beach.
