Passadiços de Vizela
The Passadiços de Vizela trail follows the banks of the Vizela River and Ribeira de Sá, connecting the Vizela Thermal Spa area to the Rompecias Waterfall, also known as Santa Eulália Waterfall. The route combines wooden boardwalk sections with natural paths, following the watercourse through a predominantly forested environment.
Along the trail, several natural and historical points of interest stand out, including small waterfalls, old mills, weirs, bridges and riverside areas integrated into the landscape of the Vizela River valley. The route also crosses the Vizela Thermal Spa Park, one of the city's most emblematic green spaces.
The trail has a low physical difficulty level and very little elevation gain, making it suitable for family walks and nature observation. The constant presence of water, riverside vegetation and wooden structures provides an experience marked by close contact with the natural environment and the river.
