The trail starts at the Chapel of St. James (S. Tiago), at the top of the Arestal mountain range, a meeting point between the municipalities of Sever do Vouga and Vale de Cambra. The path leads to the Bom River valley, a narrow valley with terraced fields and lush vegetation. Along the way, it follows old routes once used for pilgrimages to St. James. The route passes through villages like Dornelas and leisure areas, returning once again to the chapel. This 11 km trail combines nature, history, and the religious and cultural heritage of the region.
