PR11 FAF - Trilho dos Apanha-Pedrinhas

Start / End: Parque de Campismo da Barragem da Queimadela The Apanha-Pedrinhas Trail is a journey through the rural world of the Fafe region, in the district of Braga. This short-distance trail, starting and ending at the Queimadela Dam Camping Park, promises an experience that combines history, nature, and scenic beauty. Over the course of its 6 kilometers, which take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete, hikers have the opportunity to explore a landscape filled with enchantments: ancient mills, the Vizela River, the levada (irrigation canal), and a beautiful waterfall. This route is also characterized by the imposing presence of the Queimadela Dam reservoir, and dense oak forests, offering breathtaking views, and adding an atmosphere of serenity to the walk.
