PR18 LLE - Rocha da Pena

The PR18 LLE - Rocha da Pena trail is a small circular route with a length of 6.7 km and an easy difficulty level (level II), which can be completed in about 2 hours. During the hike, visitors have the opportunity to explore a variety of natural and cultural attractions. These include an ancient fountain called Fonte dos Amuados, the imposing Rocha da Pena, the Escarpa, several viewpoints that offer panoramic views, the Amuralhamento, and the village of Penina. Hikers can also observe the rich flora, including holm oaks and junipers, as well as fauna such as the Bonelli's eagle.
