PR2 MRA - Rota da Água de Moura

The PR2 MRA - Moura Water Route invites you to discover the town of Moura and its surroundings, where water and history intertwine over several centuries. The route highlights different elements of urban and historical heritage, from the Castle of Moura to fountains and hydraulic structures that reflect the importance of water in the development of the region. Among these, several stone fountains stand out, integrated into the urban fabric and former defensive structures. The surrounding landscape is marked by the extensive olive groves typical of the Alentejo, which define the agricultural identity of the territory and support the production of high-quality olive oil.
