PR25 AVV - Trilho dos Passadiços

The PR25 AVV - Walkways Trail (Trilho dos Passadiços) is a very easy short loop route, 2.3 km long and with an estimated duration of 1h, starting in the centre of Sistelo, in Arcos de Valdevez.

The route begins on stone-paved paths that descend towards the Vez River. After crossing the river, it follows a short section of walkways that are part of the Ecovia do Vez, in an area close to the Sistelo river leisure area.

Despite its name, the walkways make up only part of the route. The trail also includes agricultural paths, areas close to the village and old stone tracks shaped by the traditional use of ox carts.

The return to Sistelo follows the rural surroundings of the village, passing by the Chapel of Senhor dos Aflitos and along paths that help frame the relationship between the settlement, the river and the local agricultural landscape.
