PR3 MTG - Rota da Vila

The PR3 MTG - Village Route explores Manteigas, a mountain village located in the heart of Serra da Estrela, set at the base of the Zêzere River Glacial Valley.

Along the route, it is possible to discover the village's traditional streets, characteristic houses and several elements of its religious and urban heritage, including churches, chapels and historic buildings that reflect the evolution of Manteigas over the centuries.

Between built heritage and the surrounding landscape, this route offers the opportunity to discover one of the most emblematic villages of Serra da Estrela, with privileged views over the glacial valley and the mountains that surround it.
