The PR3 PNC - Moinho do Fundeiro Trail follows the Bazágueda River, revealing a riverside landscape marked by the presence of old mills that bear witness to the importance of agricultural activity in this region.

Along this linear trail, several mill complexes can be found, built near the watercourse and once essential to the economy of the rural communities that settled here.

The route crosses a peaceful environment, among riverside vegetation and the sound of water, allowing visitors to discover a heritage connected to the memory of local communities and the ancestral relationship between people and the river.

With a short distance and easy difficulty level, this trail offers an accessible way to discover the mills of the Bazágueda River and the natural landscape that surrounds them.

Start: Parque de Campismo do Freixial. End: Moinho do Fundeiro. Recommended season: year-round (with precautions in summer due to high temperatures and in winter due to low temperatures and possible fog). Distance: 7 km (out-and-back). Duration: 1h40 (out-and-back). Elevation gain: +25 m, -25 m. Altitude: 356 m – 373 m.
