PR6 BRG - Trilho das Candeias

The Trail of Candeias is a circular trail of about 8 km that passes through the Chapel of Our Lady of Candeias and other points of historical and natural interest in Tadim, Braga. Inspired by a popular belief about time, the trail leads the visitor to explore traces of ancient human occupation, such as the Bouça da Lapa and the ancient Penafiel de Bastuço Castle. In addition, the trail includes farms and agricultural houses, the Railway Station, and the Historic Center of Tadim. The trail is considered easy and can be completed in a little over two hours.
