The Mata da Albergaria Trail is a circular hiking path spanning approximately 5 km, located in the stunning Peneda-Gerês National Park. Starting at the Portela do Homem parking lot, near the border with Spain, this hike provides an opportunity to explore the natural treasures of the Mata da Albergaria, one of Portugal's most beautiful forests. Along the way, hikers can marvel at the majestic presence of ancient oaks, enjoy the lush vegetation, and be enchanted by the picturesque waterfalls that dot the landscape.
